Poll on Police Investigations and Prosecutorial Supplementary Investigation Powers

Nearly two-thirds say prosecutors should conduct supplementary investigations directly when deficiencies are found in a police investigation. Half doubt that meaningful external oversight would be achieved if prosecutors could only request that the police investigate again.
